Spring Fling Gold Party

Comic impersonator and singing impressionist Tom LaGravinese will be appearing in a free show on Wednesday, March 31st at DWR Consignment Boutique in New Canaan. The show is a part of a fundraiser to benefit the Local First I.B.L.A.S.T. Fund, which supports local charities in New Canaan through fundraising and card sales donations. The purpose of the Fund is to make grants to non-profit organizations that initiate programs to attract visitors and retail prospects, as well as make New Canaan an enjoyable place to live.

Tom's show is the culmination of the two day event,which starts Tuesday,March 30th 12pm-5pm. He is also a Graduate Gemologist, and will be purchasing your old and unwanted gold during the event. A percentage of the proceeds from the gold purchased will be donated to the charity by Tom.

DWR is a high end consignment shop, which opened in May of 2009. The owners, Nicole LaFlamme and Denise Friess carry designer women's clothing and accessories in their East Avenue shop.

Beginning 2pm on Wednesday March 31st there will be free refreshments, children's entertainment, the 4pm show and gold buying throughout the event. A film crew from Hollywood will be there as well to film a possible documentary for a major cable network. For more information and hours call Denise or Nicole at 203-594-7376.
